At the 'Maharshi Sandipani Guru Parv' event held on the occasion of Guru Purnima in Ujjain, Dr. Yadav inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for nine development projects worth a combined ₹587.23 crore. The headline announcement: a Dhanvantari Medical University will come up in Ujjain, named after the Hindu deity of Ayurveda and positioned to extend the city's centuries-old identity as a seat of learning into the domain of modern medical education.

Mission Buniyad: AI enters 500 government classrooms

The most immediate intervention for students was the launch of 'Mission Buniyad' — an AI-focused personalised learning initiative that will operate across 500 government schools in 8 districts of Madhya Pradesh. The programme targets students from Classes 9 to 12, deploying artificial intelligence to tailor instruction to individual learners rather than delivering the same content to an entire classroom.

The state has framed the mission as a bridge between the ancient gurukul (traditional residential schooling) tradition and twenty-first-century technology. Dr. Yadav stated the resolve to 'connect the values of the gurukul tradition with modern technology and AI to build a generation enriched with knowledge, character, and the spirit of nation-building.' The choice of Guru Purnima — the festival honouring teachers — as the launch date was deliberate: it anchors a tech-forward policy in cultural continuity.

The ceremony also recognised educational excellence at the institutional level. Six school principals who delivered 100 per cent pass results in board examinations for three consecutive years were honoured with the 'Sandipani Alankar' award, named after the ancient sage. Newly appointed teachers received their appointment letters at the same event, and students who topped the National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship Examination (NMMSE) — a centrally sponsored scheme supporting meritorious students from economically weaker sections — were felicitated on stage.
