This announcement came during the launch of a Lord Jhulelal procession to celebrate the Cheti Chand festival in Ahmedabad.

Before inaugurating the procession in the Naroda Patiya area, organized by the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) and the Cheti Chand Mahotsav Committee, Chief Minister Patel conveyed his best wishes to the Sindhi community.

In his address, he remarked, "Cheti Chand is a revered festival honoring Dariya Dev, aligning with the auspicious timing of Chaitra Navratri."
