CM Sharma Appeals to CM Yogi for Land Allocation for Rajasthan Pavilion at Maha Kumbh

Jaipur, Dec 4 (NationPress) Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma on Wednesday requested Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath to designate a plot close to the Kumbh Mela grounds in Prayagraj for the construction of a Rajasthan Pavilion.

The envisioned pavilion is intended to offer rest, refreshments, medical assistance, and various amenities for the numerous devotees from Rajasthan who are expected to attend the Maha Kumbh Mela, which is set to take place from January 13 to February 26, 2025.

An official mentioned that this initiative is aimed at ensuring the comfort of Rajasthan’s devotees while also honoring the state’s rich spiritual and cultural heritage.

In his correspondence, the Rajasthan Chief Minister expressed optimism that the support from Uttar Pradesh would enrich the Maha Kumbh experience for pilgrims from Rajasthan and aid in bolstering the nation’s cultural and spiritual legacy.

Preparations for the Maha Kumbh 2025 are currently in full progress, with Uttar Pradesh ministers set to travel to various states from December 5 to December 30 to extend invitations to Chief Ministers and Governors for the event.

During these visits, the ministers will deliver invitations along with letters from Yogi Adityanath and sacred Gangajal. Sources indicate that CM Yogi himself is anticipated to take part in related roadshows at selected venues.

To facilitate the event, the Central government has approved a special fund of ₹2,100 crores, with ₹1,050 crores already disbursed. This funding will be utilized for the development and expansion of infrastructure within the fair vicinity.

The government led by Yogi Adityanath had specifically sought this one-time grant to ensure the efficient organization of this grand religious celebration.
