Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath Invites PM Modi to Maha Kumbh Mela 2025

New Delhi, Jan 10 (NationPress) The Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath, had a meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday. The discussions focused on the preparations for the upcoming Maha Kumbh Mela. CM Yogi formally invited PM Modi to participate in this significant spiritual event.

The Prime Minister’s Office confirmed the meeting via the social media platform X, mentioning, "Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has met with PM Narendra Modi."

In addition, CM Yogi shared images from the meeting on X, stating, "Had a courtesy meeting with the esteemed Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi. Under your guidance and inspiration, the Maha Kumbh-2025 in Prayagraj is now showcasing the divine, grand, and digital representation of Sanatan pride to the world, embodying the essence of 'New India.' Heartfelt gratitude to the Prime Minister for dedicating his precious time."

On the same day, CM Yogi Adityanath also inaugurated the 'Maa Ki Rasoi' (Mother's Kitchen) at Swaroop Rani Nehru Hospital in Prayagraj, run by the Nandi Seva Sansthan. He expressed satisfaction with this initiative, which aims to provide meals to economically disadvantaged individuals. CM Yogi praised the service's quality, cleanliness, and facilities, even personally serving food to some attendees. He took the opportunity to inspect the kitchen of 'Maa Ki Rasoi.'

Present at the event were Jal Shakti Minister Swatantra Dev Singh, Industrial Development Minister Nand Gopal Gupta Nandi, former Mayor Abhilasha Gupta, Principal Secretary Home Sanjay Prasad, and Jagatguru Mahamandaleshwar Santosh Das (Satua Baba).

The Maha Kumbh 2025 is slated to occur in Prayagraj, UP from January 13 to February 26. This revered religious gathering, held every 12 years, is deemed the most sacred in Hinduism, commencing with the Paush Purnima Snan at the Triveni Sangam.
