Mahakumbh: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath Evaluates Preparations Prior to PM Modi's Arrival; Issues Key Directives

Mahakumbh Nagar, Dec 12 (NationPress) Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath traveled to Prayagraj on Thursday to assess the preparations for Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit on Friday, during which he is slated to inaugurate projects worth thousands of crores aimed at the Mahakumbh 2025.

During his site visit, the Chief Minister performed a comprehensive ground inspection of Mahakumbh Nagar and significant areas such as the Sangam Nose, where the Prime Minister is scheduled to conduct rituals. He issued precise orders to officials to guarantee the flawless execution of the event.

The Chief Minister also evaluated various crucial locations, including a temporary 100-bed hospital established in Sector One Parade, Akshay Vat, Saraswati Koop, and the Hanuman temple.

Within the temple, CM Yogi engaged in worship amid Vedic chanting, underlining the spiritual essence of the occasion.

During his visit to the hospital, CM Yogi scrutinized the Emergency Ward, ICU, OPD, waiting area, main ward, female ward, children's ward, and operation theatre.

The medical staff updated him on the state-of-the-art facilities available at the hospital, including AI-powered cameras in the ICU and an advanced AI messaging flow system.

PM Modi's visit is set to include a Ganga Aarti, a public speech, and worship at Sangam Nose.

Following the hospital inspection, CM Yogi reviewed the newly constructed jetty at Kila Ghat.

He instructed officials to ensure adequate provisions for devotees, including bathing facilities while upholding strict security protocols.

Next, he proceeded to Sangam Nose, where PM Modi will perform rituals on Friday.

Mela Officer Vijay Kiran Anand briefed the CM regarding the arrangements for PM Modi's cruise tour.

CM Yogi Adityanath conducted a meticulous review, provided essential guidance, and highlighted the importance of maintaining the cleanliness of the Ganga river.

The Chief Minister also visited the Bade Hanuman Mandir Corridor on the Sangam coast, where the Phase-1 development is currently underway by the Prayagraj Development Authority (PDA).

During the field inspection, CM Yogi was accompanied by Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya, Jal Shakti Minister Swatantradev Singh, Industrial Development Minister Nand Gopal Gupta 'Nandi', Tourism Minister Jaiveer Singh, and former minister and MLA Siddharthnath Singh, alongside other leaders and officials.
