CM Yogi will be present to greet him and supervise his involvement in the grand religious event.
The Maha Kumbh in Prayagraj has already attracted approximately 35 crore devotees who have taken a holy dip at the Triveni Sangam. On the occasion of Basant Panchami, massive crowds congregated for the Amrit Snan, with lakhs of devotees traveling from across the nation.
Despite a recent tragic stampede that resulted in 30 fatalities and over 60 injuries, the enthusiasm among pilgrims remains unshaken. In light of this incident, security protocols have been reinforced, with CM Yogi personally overseeing the arrangements.
This heightened vigilance was apparent during the Basant Panchami Amrit Snan, where thousands of devotees enjoyed a peaceful and organized holy dip at the Sangam Nose.
The Chief Minister had also held a high-level review meeting from his residence to ensure seamless arrangements. With another large turnout anticipated today, he will again be in Prayagraj to evaluate the situation firsthand.
As per the Media Centre of Mahakumbh 2025, CM Yogi's itinerary in Prayagraj includes several engagements. He is expected to arrive at 10:10 AM and perform rituals at significant religious sites.
Additionally, he will visit the Digital Mahakumbh Experience Centre in Sector 3 and inspect the Triveni Complex before wrapping up his tour. The Chief Minister's departure for Lucknow is scheduled for 3:15 PM.
Meanwhile, King Wangchuk is also likely to partake in a holy dip at the Maha Kumbh. CM Yogi will be present to welcome him and oversee the arrangements for his visit.
With enhanced security and lakhs of devotees expected, authorities are committed to ensuring a smooth and safe experience for everyone attending.
