PM Modi Affirms Commitment to Enhance Facilities for Devotees at Maha Kumbh

New Delhi, Dec 13 (NationPress) Prime Minister Narendra Modi has expressed that the government is devoted to offering every amenity to the devotees coming to Prayagraj for Maha Kumbh.
Before his visit to Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, on Friday, PM Modi stated that he would assess the initiatives related to the Maha Kumbh and also unveil and initiate several development projects.
"As we strive to make the Maha Kumbh a divine experience filled with faith, our commitment to providing all necessary facilities for devotees remains unwavering. Today, following my darshan and puja in Prayagraj, I will review the progress of the development work associated with the Maha Kumbh. Additionally, I look forward to inaugurating numerous projects," PM Modi articulated on his X handle in Hindi.
According to the official announcement, the Prime Minister will perform 'puja' and 'darshan' at Sangam Nose in Prayagraj around 12:15 p.m. Following that, around 12:40 p.m., he will conduct puja at Akshay Vata Vriksh, followed by darshan and puja at Hanuman Mandir and Saraswati Koop.
At approximately 1:30 p.m., he will tour the Mahakumbh exhibition site. Subsequently, around 2 p.m., the Prime Minister will launch and inaugurate several development projects valued at around Rs 5,500 crore in Prayagraj.
Prime Minister Modi will unveil various projects for Maha Kumbh 2025, which will encompass rail and road initiatives such as 10 new Road Over Bridges (RoBs) or flyovers, permanent ghats, and riverfront roads, among other enhancements to improve infrastructure and ensure seamless connectivity in the city.
In alignment with his commitment to a clean and pure Ganga, the Prime Minister will also introduce projects for the interception, tapping, diversion, and treatment of minor drains discharging into the Ganga, guaranteeing zero discharge of untreated water into the river.
He will also inaugurate multiple infrastructure projects focusing on drinking water and power supply.
PM Modi will launch significant temple corridors including the Bharadwaj Ashram Corridor, Shringverpur Dham Corridor, Akshayvat Corridor, and Hanuman Mandir Corridor, among others. These developments will facilitate easy access for devotees and promote spiritual tourism.
The Prime Minister will also introduce the Kumbh Sah’AI’yak chatbot, which is designed to provide devotees with guidance and updates regarding the events at Maha Kumbh Mela 2025.
