Security Measures Enhanced for PM Modi's Upcoming Visit to Prayagraj

New Delhi, Dec 13 (NationPress) Security has been intensified in anticipation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh on Friday.

Multiple layers of security have been established at various locations, particularly around the areas the PM will be visiting.

During his visit, PM Modi will review development initiatives for the Mahakumbh Mela 2025. He is set to inaugurate and launch a number of development projects valued at approximately Rs 5,500 crore in Prayagraj.

PM Modi will also offer prayers at the sacred Sangam Nose and tour significant sites such as Akshay Vat and the Lete Hanuman Temple.

In addition, he will introduce the ‘Sahayak’ chatbot, which is intended to assist attendees during the Mahakumbh. This chatbot, along with other initiatives, aims to enhance the organization and accessibility of the event while reinforcing Prayagraj's reputation as a cultural and spiritual center.

According to the schedule, PM Modi is expected to arrive in Prayagraj around 12.15 p.m. and will conduct 'puja' and 'darshan' at the Sangam Nose.

Following this, he will perform puja at Akshay Vat Vriksh, along with darshan and puja at Hanuman Mandir and Saraswati Koop.

At approximately 1.30 p.m., he will tour the Mahakumbh exhibition site before proceeding to launch various development projects in Prayagraj. The projects being inaugurated by PM Modi will include numerous initiatives for the Mahakumbh 2025.

These initiatives encompass improvements to rail and road infrastructure, such as 10 new Road Over Bridges (RoBs) or flyovers, permanent ghats, and riverfront roads.

These developments will significantly enhance the city's infrastructure and ensure seamless connectivity.

Moreover, PM Modi will inaugurate projects aimed at the interception, tapping, diversion, and treatment of minor drains leading to the river Ganga, ensuring zero discharge of untreated water into the river.

He will also launch various infrastructure initiatives related to drinking water and power.

The Prime Minister is expected to inaugurate major temple corridors, including the Bharadwaj Ashram Corridor, Shringverpur Dham Corridor, Akshayvat Corridor, and Hanuman Mandir Corridor, among others.

Finally, PM Modi will address a public meeting around 2 p.m.
