Local Residents Overjoyed as PM Modi Arrives in Prayagraj Before Mahakumbh

Prayagraj, Dec 13 (NationPress) With the arrival of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Prayagraj on Friday, the local community was ecstatic to welcome him as he met with saints and paid his respects to the Ganga River at Sangam.

PM Modi is poised to launch 167 development initiatives valued at Rs 5,500 crore. These initiatives encompass the Akshayavat Corridor, Hanuman Temple Corridor, Saraswati Koop Corridor, Bhardwaj Ashram Corridor, Shringaverpur Dham Corridor, and the unveiling of the Kumbh Sahayak Chatbot.

Upon the Prime Minister’s arrival at the gathering site in Prayagraj, thousands of individuals congregated to catch a glimpse of him and hear his words.

Present at the event, Janeshwar Mishra expressed his excitement to IANS, stating, "The Prime Minister is undoubtedly witnessing history with this monumental Mahakumbh event. His presence here holds great significance. The convergence of individuals from various backgrounds exemplifies the unity in diversity found in this region.”

Another resident of Prayagraj conveyed, "It is heartening that the Prime Minister is visiting our hometown and advancing our dharma."

“With participants arriving from diverse locales, it fills us with pride that this event is hosted in Uttar Pradesh. I extend my gratitude to both the Prime Minister and the Chief Minister,” he remarked.

Local resident Pinki Varma compared PM Modi's visit to that of a nurturing father.

“Just as a father meticulously oversees arrangements for a family event, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is here in that same spirit, ensuring that visitors from both domestic and international backgrounds receive the utmost hospitality,” she commented.

Rakesh, a native of Ballia in the Purvanchal region, shared that Prayagraj “feels like home,” commending the magnificence of the Mahakumbh, scheduled to occur from January 13 to February 26, 2025.
