Locals Overjoyed as PM Modi Visits Prayagraj Ahead of Maha Kumbh: A Historic Moment

Prayagraj, Dec 13 (NationPress) As Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Prayagraj on Friday, he met with saints and revered the Ganga River at the Sangam, leaving the local populace ecstatic to welcome him.

PM Modi is poised to launch 167 development projects amounting to Rs 5,500 crore. These initiatives encompass the Akshayavat Corridor, Hanuman Temple Corridor, Saraswati Koop Corridor, Bhardwaj Ashram Corridor, Shringaverpur Dham Corridor, and the introduction of the Kumbh Sahayak Chatbot.

As the Prime Minister arrived at the meeting site in Prayagraj, hundreds of thousands of people flocked to catch a glimpse of him and hear his address.

On this momentous occasion, Janeshwar Mishra expressed his joy to IANS, stating, “The Prime Minister is undoubtedly writing history with this grand Maha Kumbh event. His presence here is of great significance. The gathering of individuals from various backgrounds showcases the true essence of unity in diversity in this region.”

Another local resident remarked, “It feels wonderful that the Prime Minister is visiting our city and advancing our dharma.”

Pinki Varma, a resident, compared PM Modi's visit to that of a nurturing father, saying, “Just as a father diligently manages a family function, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is here in that spirit, ensuring that guests from across India and abroad are welcomed with the finest arrangements.”

Rakesh, who hails from Ballia in the Purvanchal region, expressed his sentiment that Prayagraj “feels like home,” commending the magnificence of the upcoming Maha Kumbh, scheduled to occur from January 13 to February 26, 2025.
