PM Modi to Unveil Rs 7,000 Crore Initiatives in Prayagraj; Review Developments for Mahakumbh Mela

New Delhi, Dec 12 (NationPress) Prime Minister Narendra Modi is preparing to travel to Prayagraj on Friday to assess the preparations for the Mahakumbh Mela 2025. During this visit, the Prime Minister will inaugurate and launch various development initiatives totaling around Rs 7,000 crore.
PM Modi will offer prayers at the revered Sangam Nose and visit significant sites such as Akshay Vat and Lete Hanuman Temple.
Additionally, PM Modi will unveil the ‘Sahayak’ chatbot, created to aid visitors during the Mahakumbh.
This chatbot, along with other initiatives, aims to enhance the organization and accessibility of the event while reinforcing Prayagraj's status as a cultural and spiritual center.
As per the schedule, PM Modi is expected to arrive in Prayagraj at around 12.15 p.m. and will perform pooja and darshan at the Sangam Nose.
Following this, he will conduct Pooja at Akshay Vat Vriksh and then proceed to perform darshan and Pooja at Hanuman Mandir and Saraswati Koop.
At approximately 1.30 p.m., he will tour the Mahakumbh exhibition venue before launching multiple development projects valued at around Rs 7,000 crore in Prayagraj.
The array of projects to be inaugurated by PM Modi encompasses various initiatives for the Mahakumbh 2025.
This includes rail and road projects like the construction of 10 new Road Over Bridges (RoBs) or flyovers, along with permanent Ghats and riverfront roads.
All these developments will enhance the city’s infrastructure and ensure better connectivity.
PM Modi will also inaugurate projects aimed at the interception, tapping, diversion, and treatment of minor drains leading to the river Ganga, ensuring zero discharge of untreated water into the river.
Moreover, he will launch various infrastructure initiatives related to drinking water and power.
The Prime Minister is also expected to inaugurate significant temple corridors, including the Bharadwaj Ashram corridor, Shringverpur Dham corridor, Akshayvat corridor, and Hanuman Mandir corridor, among others.
These initiatives are intended to facilitate easy access for devotees and promote spiritual tourism.
