Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath Extends Invitation to President Murmu for Maha Kumbh 2025

New Delhi, Dec 29 (NationPress) The Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath, had a meeting with President Droupadi Murmu on Sunday, where he invited her to the upcoming Maha Kumbh 2025, which will be held in Prayagraj.
According to a post shared on the social media platform X by the President's official account, it was stated, "Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath ji met President Smt. Droupadi Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhavan and extended an invitation for the forthcoming Maha Kumbh 2025."
In addition, CM Yogi also conferred with BJP National General Secretary (Organisation) B. L. Santhosh.
Santhosh took to X to express, "Every Hindu harbors an unwavering desire to partake in the Kumbh Mela. A dip in the Ganga during the Kumbh is an experience that is irreplaceable. I learned about the extensive preparations underway for the Kumbha Mela from the esteemed CM of UP, Sri Yogi Adityanath."
On the same day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke about Maha Kumbh 2025, referring to it as the "Maha Kumbh of unity."
He encouraged attendees to return from this magnificent religious gathering with a determination to eradicate hate and division within society.
During his monthly broadcast of 'Mann ki Baat', PM Modi remarked, "Mahakumbh ka sandesh ek ho pura desh" (The message from the Maha Kumbh should be that the entire country must be united)."
Additionally, on Saturday, CM Adityanath met various dignitaries in the national capital to extend invitations for the grand Maha Kumbh 2025.
He met with former President Ram Nath Kovind, BJP National President J. P. Nadda, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, and Mizoram Governor Gen. (retd) V.K. Singh.
A statement indicated that CM Adityanath provided each distinguished guest with an official invitation accompanied by symbolic gifts.
As the countdown continues with only 15 days remaining until the Maha Kumbh commences, the Uttar Pradesh government, spearheaded by CM Adityanath, is ramping up efforts to invite notable personalities and the general public from various states.
The Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj is set to begin on January 13, 2025, and will conclude on February 26, 2025.
