CM Yogi Expresses Gratitude to PM Modi for Maha Kumbh Success

Lucknow, Feb 27 (NationPress) The Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath, credited Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the successful conclusion of the Maha Kumbh 2025, describing the monumental religious event as the "Maha Yagya of unity, equality, and harmony." In reference to the Prime Minister's social media update on the Maha Kumbh, CM Yogi expressed his appreciation, stating, "Respected Prime Minister, it is your successful leadership that has made the 'Maha Yagya of unity, equality, harmony' -- Maha Kumbh 2025, Prayagraj -- a grand success today, establishing new benchmarks in safety, cleanliness, management, grandeur, and divinity."

He emphasized the extensive participation in the event, noting, "Over the past 45 holy days, more than 66 crore devotees, including esteemed saints and sages, have experienced the blessing of taking a dip of faith in the sacred Triveni."

CM Yogi highlighted the spiritual essence of the festival, referring to it as a celebration of humanity that conveys the message of 'all people are one' and fosters global unity under the profound principle of 'Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam.'

"Your guidance and best wishes continuously inspire us with new energy. Thank you very much, Prime Minister!" he stated.

In his blog regarding the Maha Kumbh, PM Modi commended the successful orchestration of the event and called upon the nation to "unite and collaborate for the Maha Yagya of a Viksit Bharat."

Recognizing the contributions of the Centre, the Uttar Pradesh government, and the citizens of Prayagraj, PM Modi expressed gratitude for their unwavering dedication to serving the millions of devotees at this once-in-144-year spiritual gathering.

Addressing the complexities involved in hosting such a grand event, the Prime Minister humbly requested forgiveness from the public, stating, "I understand that organizing such a massive event was quite challenging. I pray to Maa Ganga, Maa Yamuna, Maa Saraswati… O Maa, if we have not met your expectations in our worship, please forgive us. If we have failed to serve the devotees, who are God to me, I also seek forgiveness from the public."
