Chennai, Dec 14 (NationPress) The Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu and President of DMK, M.K. Stalin, is set to participate in the DMK Youth Wing’s northern regional conference taking place today in Tiruvannamalai, as confirmed by party officials.

This gathering aims to unite young members from various northern districts of the state and has been meticulously organized. The conference encompasses a total of 91 Assembly constituencies and will be presided over by Deputy Chief Minister and DMK Youth Wing Secretary, Udhayanidhi Stalin.

A significant attendance of youthful cadres is anticipated, showcasing the party’s ongoing commitment to fortifying its organizational foundation among younger constituents.

Prior to the conference, Chief Minister Stalin shared a video message inviting DMK youth to the Tiruvannamalai event. In this message, he emphasized that the youth wing serves as a crucial component of the party, asserting that such gatherings are instrumental in fostering ideological clarity, discipline, and a sense of public responsibility among young cadres.

During the conference, CM Stalin is expected to deliver a speech focusing on reinforcing the party’s Dravidian ideology and preparing the youth wing for enhanced organizational and political duties.

According to party leaders, this meeting is intended as a forum not just for mobilization, but also for ideological education and leadership development.

Reflecting on the party’s heritage, the Chief Minister recalled how the late former Chief Minister and DMK founder, C.N. Annadurai, had embraced his self-introduction in the Rajya Sabha as a “Dravidian.”

The CM noted that this declaration of Dravidian identity continues to influence the party’s political philosophy and serves as a guiding principle for the current generation of DMK activists.

As per party sources, discussions at the Tiruvannamalai conference will focus on organizational growth, grassroots outreach, social justice politics, and effective public engagement, particularly targeting youth and first-time voters.

Training sessions and discussions are expected to devise strategies aimed at enhancing the DMK’s footprint across Assembly constituencies in the northern region.

With Udhayanidhi Stalin at the helm of the youth wing, the DMK has intensified efforts to invigorate young cadres and integrate them more closely with the party’s governance and organizational frameworks.
