Bhopal, Jan 31 (NationPress) On the fourth day of his visit to Japan, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav will on Friday participate in government-to-government (G2G) discussions and conduct business meetings.
Throughout the day, Chief Minister Yadav will emphasize the goal of boosting industrial growth in Madhya Pradesh and fortifying trade relations with Japan.
The Chief Minister will meet with high-ranking Japanese government officials and prominent industrialists to seek out opportunities for investment, technology transfer, and partnerships in vital sectors.
Later, he will head to Kyoto, where he plans to explore significant cultural and historical sites. During his visit, he aims to identify ways to enhance tourism and cultural ties between Madhya Pradesh and Japan, officials have disclosed.
CM Yadav is scheduled to have a lunch meeting in Kyoto with business representatives and industrialists. 'This gathering will create a platform to deliberate on investment opportunities in fields such as IT, manufacturing, and tourism, leveraging Japan’s expertise in these areas for the advancement of Madhya Pradesh,' stated the Chief Minister’s Office.
On Thursday, following an engaging session with industrialists in Osaka, CM Yadav remarked that he has received a positive reception from Japanese investors regarding investments in Madhya Pradesh. 'We have come here to invite investors; we are conducting roadshows in various cities in Japan alongside Indian investors and engaging with Japanese investors as well. I am pleased to say that we are receiving a favorable response from all quarters. I am happy that we are being heard concerning every sector and are also receiving offers,' the CM expressed.
He added, 'During my visit to Japan, I had the chance to partake in an Interactive Session on Investment Opportunities in Madhya Pradesh held in Osaka. I interacted with industrialists and investors, showcasing the vast potential that Madhya Pradesh presents and inviting them to join in our state’s growth narrative. With world-class infrastructure, investor-friendly policies, and special incentive schemes, Madhya Pradesh is emerging as a prime global investment hub. We are swiftly becoming a crucial center for sectors like tourism, pharmaceuticals, automobiles, mining, dairy, and food processing. Our steadfast commitment to nurturing a business-friendly environment ensures smooth investment opportunities and sustainable growth for all stakeholders.'
Chief Minister Yadav further stated that Japan and India share a bond akin to that of two long-lost brothers, as both nations possess numerous similarities, including cultural and spiritual connections. 'Whether it’s the veneration of the Sun God or the teachings of Gautam Buddha, both countries exhibit cultural and spiritual parallels. Recognizing the profound relationship between the two nations, one could assert that India and Japan are like two long-lost brothers,' he concluded.
