Bhopal, Jan 30 (NationPress) Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav stated on Thursday that India and Japan resemble two long-lost brothers, noting the numerous similarities shared by both nations, such as cultural and spiritual connections.

Chief Minister Yadav emphasized that the Japanese commitment to excellence serves as a motivating force for embracing life with both joy and purpose.

He remarked, "Whether it’s the veneration for the sun god or the teachings from Gautam Buddha, both nations share profound cultural and spiritual ties. Observing the strong bond between India and Japan, it is fair to conclude that they are akin to two long-lost brothers," while he was addressing an interactive session with industrialists and industry representatives in Osaka during his Japan visit.

During his speech, the Chief Minister pointed out the investment opportunities in Madhya Pradesh, which is rich in mineral resources and well-connected to major cities across the nation.

He extended an invitation to Osaka-based industrialists to engage in the upcoming Madhya Pradesh Global Investors Summit, slated for February 24-25 in Bhopal.

Chief Minister Yadav assured that should they present ambitious proposals, the state government is fully equipped to assist in turning their ideas into reality.

"Under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership, Madhya Pradesh is witnessing a double-digit growth rate. Therefore, Japanese industries with advanced technology have exceptional investment prospects in our state," he stated.

He further highlighted that industries in Madhya Pradesh should prioritize sustainable resource utilization instead of mere exploitation.

He urged Japanese investors to responsibly and ethically utilize the state’s abundant resources.

Additionally, he noted that the state government has introduced various innovations in the healthcare sector, including establishing hospitals through public-private partnerships.

"In the tourism sector, subsidies amount to Rs 40 crore, and incentives are available for investments of Rs 100 crore," Yadav mentioned, adding that, "We are prepared to offer a return of 200 percent, demonstrating our sincere intentions."

Chief Minister Mohan Yadav is currently on a four-day visit to Japan, set to return on February 1. This visit is part of the 'Invest in Madhya Pradesh' business initiative that began last year, culminating in the 'Invest Madhya Pradesh Global Investors Summit 2025'.
