Bhopal, Jan 30 (NationPress) The Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Mohan Yadav, currently on a four-day visit to Japan, paid tribute to Mahatma Gandhi on his death anniversary in Kobe on Thursday, stating that his disciplined and ideal life will persistently motivate individuals.

The Chief Minister honored the Father of the Nation by offering a floral tribute at his statue located at the India Club in Kobe.

"I humbly pay my respects on the death anniversary of the highly esteemed Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi, who illuminated the path to liberation from oppression and servitude through the principles of truth and non-violence. Bapu's advocacy for cleanliness has sparked significant transformations in our nation. Your disciplined and exemplary life, along with your thoughts on welfare, will forever inspire us to serve our country and society," the CM remarked in a post on X (in Hindi).

"The entire life of Mahatma Gandhi embodies non-violence, freedom, and humanity. His journey, tenacity, and remarkable persona from Africa to India serve as motivation for us all," the Chief Minister conveyed in a video message.

On the third day of his visit to Japan, Chief Minister Yadav is set to engage in multiple meetings with industrialists in Kobe and Osaka.

During these meetings, the Chief Minister will deliberate on investment and partnership prospects within the healthcare, energy, and manufacturing sectors.

In the evening, CM Yadav will connect with industrialists in Osaka during an interactive roadshow showcasing investment opportunities in Madhya Pradesh.

He will emphasize the state’s business-friendly policies, infrastructure advancements, and available resources tailored for industries.

Additionally, the CM will invite Japanese industrialists to attend the Global Investors Summit scheduled in Bhopal on February 24-25. "I have come to Japan to enhance investment prospects for the youth of Madhya Pradesh and to foster industrial investment in the state. I am pleased to note that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the regard and attitude of all nations, including Japan, towards India is on the rise," CM Yadav stated.

On Wednesday, the Chief Minister addressed the Indian diaspora in Japan, asserting that Indians, deeply rooted in strong family values, display unwavering loyalty wherever they are employed. This adaptability enables them to integrate effortlessly into any environment, akin to sugar dissolving in milk.

During the ‘Friends of MP' gathering in Japan, CM Yadav underscored the vast development opportunities in Madhya Pradesh across various sectors such as tourism, automobile, tyre manufacturing, and ready-made garments.

Present at the event were the Indian Ambassador to Japan, C.V. George, along with Additional Chief Secretary of the Chief Minister's Office, Rajesh Rajoura, and Principal Secretary of Industrial Policy and Investment Promotion, Raghavendra Kumar Singh.
