New Delhi, June 12 (NationPress) Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Thursday conveyed her deepest sympathies following the tragic crash of an Air India aircraft near Ahmedabad Airport, which was carrying a total of 242 individuals, inclusive of the crew.
"I am heartbroken upon hearing about the flight incident in Ahmedabad. My thoughts and prayers are with the families and friends of those aboard the flight," stated FM Sitharaman.
Piyush Goyal, the Minister for Commerce and Industry, expressed his sorrow, stating he was "profoundly saddened by the news of the plane crash in Ahmedabad."
"I extend my heartfelt condolences to the families of those who have lost their loved ones. We stand united with those in mourning and pray for the swift recovery of the injured. Om Shanti," he posted.
Ram Mohan, the Civil Aviation Minister, also expressed his shock and devastation regarding the incident.
