New Delhi, Jan 22 (NationPress) As Congress candidate for the New Delhi Assembly seat, Sandeep Dikshit, claimed that personnel from the Punjab Police were campaigning for AAP, Alka Lamba, the Congress candidate from the Kalkaji Assembly constituency, firmly declared that these assertions are not mere allegations but a confirmed reality.

In an interview with IANS, Lamba stated, "This is not an accusation; it is a fact. Arvind Kejriwal is utilizing the entire Punjab Police force, along with administrative and financial resources intended for the people of Punjab, to secure victory in the Delhi elections. In my Kalkaji constituency, particularly in Govindpuri, it resembles a part of Punjab. The people of Punjab have been diverted from their responsibilities, and administrative officials are being urged to neglect their duties. All the power and resources meant for Punjab are being exploited for electoral advantage in Delhi."

Lamba further condemned the actions of former Delhi Chief Minister Kejriwal, referring to his earlier oath taken in the name of Shaheed Bhagat Singh.

"Kejriwal falsely invoked Bhagat Singh’s name and must seek forgiveness from the people of Punjab. Now, he is utilizing all the financial resources and authority that belong to the Punjab populace to secure Delhi's elections. Kejriwal has instilled such fear in Punjab that if the Delhi elections are lost, Punjab’s ministers are worried about losing their positions. Instead of addressing Punjab’s current issues, Kejriwal is leveraging their support for the Delhi elections," she emphasized.

Lamba also responded to Kejriwal’s statement that initiatives like free electricity and water would be discontinued if he fails to win the Delhi elections.

"Do not intimidate us. Nothing is free. It is the people's entitlement to receive relief from inflation and unemployment, which was facilitated under the leadership of former Chief Minister, late Sheila Dikshit. Kejriwal is employing these free services as political instruments, which ultimately costs the populace millions. He has devastated the thriving Delhi established by Sheila Dikshit. Over the last decade, the people have recognized his deception," Lamba expressed.

Regarding moral standards, she criticized Kejriwal’s political behavior, stating, "He professes to reform the system but now indulges in religious politics. Where is his sense of morality? He demanded resignations due to fraud allegations, ended up in jail, and is now out on bail. He should have contemplated carefully before entering the political arena and must not solicit votes under these conditions."

Lamba also addressed Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar's concerns regarding illegal migration in India, labeling it as an "unmanageable challenge."

She questioned the response of the Central government, stating, "If this is a national danger, what are the Prime Minister, Defence Minister, and Home Minister doing? They are enjoying their positions while taking no action to assist the poor, laborers, or the middle class. They have raised taxes, and the public suffers from polluted air and water, unsafe vaccines, and increasing crime."

"The Delhi Police falls under the Centre’s jurisdiction, and citizens are at risk. It is time for a transformation. The residents of Delhi and the AAP need to recognize that a strong alternative exists: the Congress, led by Rahul Gandhi. We are united for change."
