Patna, Dec 12 (NationPress) The Chief of the Vikassheel Insaan Party (VIP), Mukesh Sahani, asserted on Friday that a plot is in motion to oust Nitish Kumar from his role as Chief Minister.
During a media interaction at Patna Airport, Sahani stated, “Just wait. Even Chief Minister Nitish Kumar is unaware of how long he will hold his position. There is a plot underway to remove him from office.”
He continued, “The truth will be unveiled in due time. Everyone is aware of which MLA is communicating with whom. Wait for the opportune moment, and the facts will emerge.”
The VIP leader, who had largely stepped back from Bihar’s political landscape following his party’s lackluster showing in the Assembly elections, made a rare media appearance on Friday.
Returning to Patna from Mumbai, Sahani delivered a series of pointed political comments.
In response to Shivanand Tiwari’s counsel to Tejashwi Yadav, Sahani remarked, “What will we gain by remaining in Bihar right now? We have given the government a three-month period to fulfill its promises. After that, we will engage with the public in a structured way and oppose the government.”
Sahani accused the Bihar government of being a “government of theft,” alleging that it came to power through financial inducements, including cash payments of ₹10,000.
He mentioned that his party aimed to raise public awareness through the Voter Rights March.
Furthermore, he condemned the Election Commission for its lack of impartiality.
Sahani’s comments arise as JDU MLC Neeraj Kumar suggested that 16 RJD MLAs are in contact with the JDU and could potentially join the party.
In response to Kumar’s claims, RJD spokesperson Mrityunjay Tiwari stated, “A game of cat and mouse is currently unfolding within the NDA. This coalition secured 202 out of 243 seats in Bihar, yet they assert that 16 MLAs are in contact with the JDU. This clearly indicates that the JDU is under pressure, which is why its leaders are making such statements, despite the new government being formed less than a month ago.”
