Patna, March 1 (NationPress) The Communist Party of India (Marxist-Leninist) Liberation (CPI-ML) is set to hold a rally at Gandhi Maidan in Patna on Sunday, aimed at ‘Badlo Bihar’ (Transform Bihar). The purpose of this rally is to demonstrate strength in anticipation of the 2025 Bihar Assembly elections.

The rally intends to address critical issues plaguing various communities across the state, such as landless residents facing eviction due to land surveys, citizens burdened by soaring electricity bills and the rollout of prepaid meters, Dalits and minorities experiencing religious violence and caste discrimination, women workers fighting for fundamental rights and equitable wages, as well as students, youth, and women impacted by microfinance institutions.

CPI-ML State Secretary Kunal remarked, “This rally will act as a People's Assembly for Bihar, offering a platform for voices from all communities to express their issues and influence the agenda for the forthcoming state elections.”

In the lead-up to the event, Patna has welcomed a stream of participants from areas like Seemanchal and Champaran, arriving in groups and caravans to the location.

The city, particularly Gandhi Maidan, has been decorated with placards, flex banners, and hoardings showcasing the demands of various activist groups.

Cultural programs are scheduled for the night before the rally to promote unity and clarify the movement’s objectives.

The CPI-ML has also been proactive on social media, forming specialized teams to amplify the rally’s message and ensure broad awareness.

Party leaders, including General Secretary Dipankar Bhattacharya and senior leader Swadesh Bhattacharya, along with representatives from nearby states like Jharkhand, have arrived in Patna to join the event.

This rally follows a series of initiatives by the CPI-ML, including the “Badlo Bihar” campaign in the Seemanchal region, aimed at garnering support for systemic change in Bihar.

Given the expected large turnout, attendees are encouraged to plan their travel in advance and stay informed via official CPI-ML communication channels.
