Mumbai, April 7 (NationPress) During an event held by the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) in Mumbai, Maharashtra, the organization's general secretary Dattatreya Hosabale paid tribute to Ahilyabai Holkar. He characterized both Ahilyabai and Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj as exemplary rulers, stating that the country has periodically seen incarnations of individuals who realize ideals and aspirations.
Reflecting on a past event, Dattatreya Hosabale mentioned, "Last year, a representative assembly of the Sangh took place in Nagpur. During this assembly, the entire community was invited to engage in the Lok Mata Ahilyabai Holkar Jayanti celebrations, drawing inspiration from her life and organizing various initiatives among the populace. If there were any deficiencies in the program, the organizers expressed their apologies. However, I believe there were no shortcomings in the event. It would have been even more enjoyable had a woman been the chief guest at the ceremony."
He continued, "The name of Ahilyabai Holkar is eternal, shining brightly in history. Each episode of her life could be adapted into a series, play, or film."
Discussing the topic of good governance, Dattatreya remarked, "Currently, there is a nationwide dialogue about good governance. Every community desires an efficiently run state, ensuring our happiness. This is why incarnations of those who fulfill ideals have emerged on this land across various eras. The moral authority to discuss good governance originates with Shri Ram. Ram Rajya is more than just a concept; it has been realized in various forms."
In reference to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, he stated, "It is well known how Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj exemplified good governance. He taught us how a state should operate and the policies it should adopt. A state functions through the strength of its laws and moral authority, guided by the principles of Dharmaraj.
