New Delhi, Nov 20 (NationPress) A court in Delhi has ordered the National Investigation Agency (NIA) to take four newly-arrested suspects from the November 10 blast incident into custody for a duration of 10 days, according to official sources.

The individuals, now in NIA custody as per the Special Court's directive, have been identified as Dr. Muzammil Shakeel Ganai from Pulwama, Dr. Adeel Ahmed Rather from Anantnag, Mufti Irfan Ahmad Wagay from Shopian, all hailing from Jammu and Kashmir, alongside Dr. Shaheen Saeed from Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.

These four suspects mark the latest arrests in the ongoing investigation, raising the total number of individuals apprehended in this case to six.

During the proceedings, the NIA had requested a 15-day custody period for the suspects; however, the Special Court granted only 10 days for custodial questioning.

The NIA confirmed in a statement that these individuals were apprehended in Srinagar, Jammu & Kashmir, following production orders from the District Sessions Judge at the Patiala House Court.

The agency's investigation indicates that these suspects played significant roles in the terrorist attack that resulted in numerous fatalities and injuries.

As part of its rapid investigation, the NIA had previously detained two suspects: Amir Rashid Ali, the registered owner of the car involved in the blast, and Jasir Bilal Wani alias Danish, who allegedly provided technical support to the terrorists.

Jasir is said to have modified drones and attempted to construct rockets prior to the devastating car bomb explosion, which claimed the lives of 13 individuals and left 32 others injured.

A prior hearing on Monday had also resulted in the detention of Aamir Rashid Ali, a Kashmiri who allegedly conspired with Dr. Umar, for 10 days in NIA custody.

Ali was taken into custody on November 16.

The NIA stated, 'Their interrogation is ongoing as part of our efforts to expose the full extent of the terror conspiracy in case RC-21/2025/NIA/DLI.'
