New Delhi, March 13 (NationPress) The Chief Minister of Delhi, Rekha Gupta, joyfully celebrated Holi with the children at Asha Kiran Shelter Home in Rohini on Thursday, spreading festive cheer and conveying her warm greetings to the residents.

During the lively festivities, CM Gupta playfully applied gulal and engaged with the children, creating an atmosphere of happiness.

In her conversation with reporters, she shared her joy, stating, "Today, I celebrated Holi with the children of Asha Kiran, and it felt wonderful. The children were very happy."

While visiting the shelter, the Chief Minister also assessed the living conditions there.

"I wanted to comprehend how they are living here and pinpoint any flaws in the system. I have noted the areas requiring improvement and have alerted the relevant authorities to take action," she mentioned.

Reiterating her commitment to welfare, she added, "Although today's visit was scheduled, I plan to come without prior notice next time, and I expect the facilities to remain as well-maintained as they appeared today."

CM Gupta personally connected with the children and monitored their well-being.

"Even though they couldn't share much about themselves, I observed a sense of tranquility on their faces. I will keep this under observation and make regular visits," she remarked.

She also instructed authorities to enhance care arrangements for the specially-abled children, including upgrades to park facilities. Furthermore, she directed officials to expand the shelter home's capacity to accommodate more children in need.

In her Holi message to the people of Delhi, CM Gupta encouraged everyone to celebrate responsibly.

"I send my heartfelt Holi wishes to all residents of Delhi. May this Holi be safe, and let's conserve water by using natural colors while we celebrate.
