New Delhi, Jan 20 (NationPress) On Tuesday, Delhi's Chief Minister Rekha Gupta extended her warm congratulations to Nitin Nabin, the newly appointed National President of the BJP, during their meeting at the party's headquarters. She expressed her heartfelt wishes as he embarks on his journey leading the world's largest political party.

CM Gupta emphasized that Nabin's journey from a modest background to the role of National President, achieved through his unwavering dedication and hard work within the organization, is truly inspirational.

She further stated that Nabin's selection as National President at just 45 years of age reflects the Bharatiya Janata Party's confidence in youth, showcasing that their commitment to empowering young leaders is not just talk but is evident in their organizational structure, decision-making, and leadership development initiatives.

Earlier that day, Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva accompanied Nabin to several places of worship prior to his election.

Together with Nabin, Sachdeva, along with Delhi Government Ministers Pravesh Verma and Manjinder Singh Sirsa, and BJP’s National Co-Media Head Sanjay Mayukh, visited the Jhandewalan temple to offer prayers to Mata Jhandewali, the Goddess of Shakti.

Following this, they also prayed at Shri Balmiki Mandir on Mandir Marg, the historic Hanuman Temple on Baba Kharag Singh Marg, and Gurudwara Bangla Sahib, as stated in an official release.

Upon taking office, Nabin was joined by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah, along with senior leaders such as Union Ministers Rajnath Singh, Nitin Gadkari, and outgoing party president Jagat Prasad Nadda.

During the ceremony, PM Modi took a moment to congratulate Nabin's family, sharing jovial exchanges with them.

Earlier, while addressing the BJP leaders and workers, PM Modi referred to Nitin Nabin as his 'boss,' humorously asserting his own role as merely a party worker in comparison.

“In matters of party affairs, I am but a worker, while Nitin Nabin is my boss,” he stated, drawing loud cheers from those present at the headquarters.

Modi remarked that Nabin possesses both the vigor of youth and extensive experience within the organization, qualities that will undoubtedly be advantageous for the party.
