New Delhi, March 30 (NationPress) Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Sunday tuned into the 120th episode of ‘Mann Ki Baat’ radio program and shared its recording on her social media platforms, encouraging citizens to find inspiration and engage in initiatives for water conservation and the practice of Yoga.

The CM also extended her wishes on the occasion of Rajasthan Day and visited the Chhatarpur temple in south Delhi to celebrate the Hindu New Year and Navratri, seeking blessings for the progress of Delhi.

“I prayed for consistent development in our city and the preservation of harmony,” stated CM Gupta after her prayers, urging the public to participate in the government’s development initiatives, particularly in rainwater harvesting.

In a video message and a post on social media, CM Gupta expressed, “Happy Rajasthan Day! This land of heroes is renowned worldwide for its rich history, vibrant culture, and unmatched bravery. May its traditions and tales of valor continue to thrive. Wishing happiness, prosperity, and progress to the people of Rajasthan!”

She reflected on how, on this significant day, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel unified various princely states to form Rajasthan.

The Delhi BJP also commemorated Rajasthan Diwas, during which CM Gupta joined city unit chief Virendra Sachdeva to emphasize the contributions of individuals from the desert state to the nation’s and city’s growth. The event was organized by the BJP ST Morcha.

Earlier, Sachdeva and CM Gupta listened to the 120th episode of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Mann Ki Baat. “Mann Ki Baat is a source of knowledge, education, and information... it has transformed into a program of consciousness and awareness. It greatly benefits the new generation and youth,” stated Sachdeva.

He added that the slogan “Catch the Rain” provided by the PM will certainly be implemented in Delhi through rainwater harvesting.

On the PM’s mention of International Yoga Day on June 21, Sachdeva remarked that even the younger generation should embrace Yoga as it is India’s gift to the world.
