New Delhi, Feb 3 (NationPress) The intense campaigning for the Delhi Assembly elections is set to conclude at 5:00 p.m. on Monday, as the three main political parties—the ruling Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), and Congress—make their final attempts to attract voters.

The national capital is scheduled to vote on February 5, with the counting of votes and results expected to be announced on February 8.

AAP National Convenor and former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal aims for a fourth consecutive term, striving to secure another victory for his party.

On the campaign’s last day, Kejriwal will conduct public meetings in the Chhatarpur and Kalkaji Assembly constituencies to rally support for AAP candidates.

In the Kalkaji Assembly constituency, Chief Minister Atishi is pursuing re-election for the second time, facing stiff competition from BJP candidate Ramesh Bidhuri and Congress' Alka Lamba.

Atishi first gained prominence in Delhi's politics in 2020 by winning the Kalkaji seat by over 11,000 votes, defeating BJP's Dharambir Singh.

Additionally, the Chhatarpur Assembly constituency is a significant battleground, primarily contested between AAP's Brahm Singh Tanwar, BJP's Kartar Singh Tanwar, and Congress' Rajender Singh Tanwar.

Notably, Kartar Singh Tanwar, who won the seat in 2020 as an AAP candidate, shifted to the BJP last year and is now contesting as their representative.

As AAP makes its final voter appeal, BJP is ramping up its campaign, with Union Home Minister Amit Shah scheduled to hold three vital public meetings in Jangpura, Bijwasan, and Dwarka Assembly constituencies.

With mere hours left before the campaigning deadline, all parties are executing their final strategies to influence undecided voters and solidify their support base.
