Delhi Mahila Scheme: Sandeep Dikshit Calls for Cheating FIR Against Kejriwal and Atishi

New Delhi, Dec 26 (NationPress) The political landscape in Delhi became increasingly charged on Thursday over the contentious Mukhyamantri Mahila Samman Yojana. Congress candidate from the New Delhi Assembly constituency, Sandeep Dikshit, asserted that Delhi L-G V.K. Saxena should direct the filing of a cheating complaint against AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal and Chief Minister Atishi for their involvement in the alleged ‘fraudulent scheme’.
Prior to his visit to Raj Niwas to file his complaint, Dikshit informed the media that following a public notice issued by the Delhi government on Wednesday regarding the scheme, it became evident that the Atishi-led government was engaging in deceitful practices and unlawfully collecting personal data from women.
“I demand that cheating cases be pursued against Kejriwal and the CM. The data gathered from women must be secured and returned to them. There is considerable risk of misuse of their personal information,” he stated, outlining his intention to submit a formal complaint to L-G Saxena.
Dikshit also accused the AAP of funneling funds for the upcoming Delhi Assembly elections by transporting money from Punjab, where the AAP governs, utilizing government vehicles from bordering states.
The son of former three-term Congress Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit further alleged that plainclothes policemen from the AAP government in Punjab were dispatched to Delhi to gather “electoral intelligence,” which he described as an act of surveillance.
He mentioned encountering two Punjab police officers near his residence, reinforcing his claims of the Punjab government’s apparatus being misused in Delhi.
Under the leadership of Kejriwal, the ruling AAP has recently initiated the registration process for the Mukhyamantri Mahila Samman Yojana, aimed at providing financial assistance to vulnerable groups in Delhi.
The AAP government has assured a monthly payment of Rs 2,100 to eligible women aged over 18. Additionally, kiosks have been established throughout Delhi to facilitate the enrollment of beneficiaries for the scheme.
Earlier, Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee president Devender Yadav remarked that the public notice issued by the Delhi government against the women’s scheme represented a significant condemnation of Kejriwal’s dishonesty.
The public notice from the Delhi government’s departments clarified that the Rs 2,100 scheme for women, wherein Kejriwal and other AAP leaders were executing false registrations, was merely a political maneuver, he argued.
