New Delhi, Feb 17 (NationPress) Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta officially opened a CM-Shri School in Sarojini Nagar and introduced the CM-Shri Schools initiative across 75 schools in the city. This initiative aims to enhance students' learning experiences using advanced AI technologies, as stated by an official.

Both leaders pledged to provide top-notch facilities for students in Delhi's educational institutions, highlighting that the incorporation of modern AI tools will significantly grow in the near future to maximize the benefits of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.

The CM-Shri Schools will feature enhanced facilities such as AI-enabled Smart Classrooms, Career Counselling Labs, ICT Labs, Digitized Libraries, Multi-Sectoral Skill Labs, Language Labs, Resource Rooms for Inclusive Education, and the CM Shri Digital Portal for students preparing for competitive exams.

During the event, Pradhan and CM Gupta explored an exhibition showcasing students' digital projects created using AI tools.

The Union Minister recently engaged with policymakers, educational leaders, and technology entrepreneurs to explore the potential of AI in transforming India’s education landscape, in alignment with the NEP 2020 goals.

A separate budget of Rs 50 crore has also been allocated for the renovation and upgrading of community buildings under the Municipal Corporation.
