New Delhi, Feb 17 (NationPress) Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta officially opened a CM Shri School in Sarojini Nagar on Tuesday, underscoring the government's objective to develop an education framework that equips children not only for tests but also for real-life challenges.

During the ceremony, foundation stones were laid for 75 additional CM Shri School projects throughout the Capital.

This initiative aligns with the National Education Policy, aiming to deliver modern, technology-enhanced, and superior educational experiences, as confirmed by an official.

Pradhan praised the Chief Minister for the significant strides made in the education sector within just one year.

He emphasized that a vast number of students are engaged in education in Delhi, and the government bears the responsibility of effectively executing the National Education Policy.

He expressed optimism that under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Delhi government will continue to play a pivotal role in enhancing school education, higher education, and research-driven learning across the nation.

Chief Minister Gupta remarked that CM Shri Schools represent more than just new facilities; they are a strategic move to make Delhi’s youth competitive on a global scale.

She revealed that AI-integrated smart classrooms are being established, featuring interactive panels, digital learning resources, and modern educational tools, allowing for personalized learning tailored to each student's capabilities.

A dedicated platform for competitive exam preparation such as JEE, NEET, CUET, CLAT, and NDA has been launched, which includes regular online assessments and progress monitoring.

Chief Minister Gupta also stated that multi-disciplinary skill labs will introduce students early on to fields like robotics, artificial intelligence, design, and mechatronics, aiding them in securing jobs or launching their own businesses in the future.

Special ICT labs will offer training in digital literacy, coding, and computational thinking, while digitized libraries will provide e-books, research materials, and resources for competitive exams, she added.

Delhi Education Minister Ashish Sood noted the establishment of 75 CM Shri Schools as a remarkable accomplishment, asserting that by developing these institutions to high standards, the Delhi Government sets a benchmark.

These schools will deliver modern amenities and technologically advanced education to children from economically weaker and middle-income families, comparable to private institutions, he stated.

The Chief Minister mentioned that career labs will evaluate students' interests and aptitudes, offering suitable guidance for further studies, skill enhancement, and employment opportunities.

The ‘Science of Living’ spaces will prioritize mental health, ethical education, and character development to ensure students cultivate confidence and strong values.

She confirmed that no other state has implemented such an education model in this manner.

With the incorporation of AI, tech-driven learning, multilingual education, and structured industry engagement through internships, these schools aim not only for high board exam results but also for facilitating admissions into IITs, medical institutions, and foreign universities.
