Dholpur, Dec 11 (NationPress) Anshul Sharma, a PhD Agronomy student from the Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technology, Udaipur, has been awarded the esteemed Prime Minister's Research Fellowship (PMRF). A resident of the Dihauli police station area in Dholpur district, Sharma has made history as the first student from the Rajasthan Agricultural University, Udaipur, to secure this highly competitive national fellowship.

The PMRF, initiated by the Government of India through the Anusandhan National Research Foundation, serves as a prestigious accolade aimed at advancing research in science and technology.

As a beneficiary of this honor, Anshul Sharma will receive financial assistance of Rs 38 lakh over four years to enhance his research, which aspires to make significant contributions to the nation’s agricultural advancement.

Anshul, who is engrossed in his doctoral studies in Agronomy, expressed profound gratitude for this opportunity.

"I am truly elated to have been selected for this fellowship. It represents a remarkable initiative by our esteemed Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
