Harda (Madhya Pradesh), June 30 (NationPress) Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s PM-KISAN Samman Nidhi scheme has emerged as an essential support system for small-scale farmers in the Harda district of Madhya Pradesh. Through this initiative, each eligible farmer benefits from Rs 6,000 annually, disbursed in three installments of Rs 2,000 every four months.
The 19th installment was released on February 24, 2025, with the 20th expected soon, contingent upon beneficiaries completing necessary procedures such as e-KYC and linking their bank accounts to Aadhaar.
In Magardha village, approximately 30 km from the district headquarters, Dilip Gaur shared his insights about the scheme. Speaking to IANS, he voiced his gratitude for the program's benefits.
“Since the scheme's inception, it has been a lifeline for us,” he remarked.
“Now, we can afford soybean seeds and fertilizers and purchase medications without relying on expensive loans. Initiatives like this should not only persist but also expand,” he expressed his hope and appreciation for PM Modi.
Twenty kilometers away in Nakwada, Rajesh Singh Rajput echoed this sentiment: “All three installments arrive punctually, making our small farming tasks significantly easier. We’re extremely thankful to Modiji.”
In Jijgaon Khurd, about 18 km distant, Amit Sharma shared: “Receiving Rs 2,000 three times a year alleviates the need to borrow for seeds or fertilizers—it has been a tremendous relief. Without this support, we would be in debt. This scheme must continue; PM Modi is indeed the best Prime Minister.”
Approximately 15 km away in Bundra, Amardas Nagle commented: “The funds are credited promptly, enabling us to swiftly procure supplies or compensate laborers. Without this assistance, we would have to borrow from moneylenders. We are profoundly grateful to PM Modi.”
Shivdas Damare from the same village remarked: “The Rs 2,000 installments arrive consistently, allowing us to pay laborers on time. Without this initiative, we would encounter significant challenges. It’s a remarkable program — PM Modi has created something exceptional.”
