New Delhi, Aug 10 (NationPress) Union Minister Giriraj Singh on Sunday launched a fierce critique against Rahul Gandhi, the Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha, accusing him of undermining the Constitution and deceiving the public with unfounded claims against the Election Commission of India (ECI).
In response to Rahul Gandhi's recent assertions that the ECI tampered with the voter rolls to favor the ruling party, Singh remarked that the Congress leader seemed “unaware of the Constitution” and was behaving “like a lunatic”.
“Rahul Gandhi appears to be oblivious to the Constitution and acts erratically. They should honor the Constitution. Just admit it: you desire the support of Bangladeshi infiltrators,” Singh stated.
He further chastised the opposition for its duplicity and misinformation: “Numerous individuals who were alive were listed as deceased, or those who were eligible were removed. Clearly state that you wish to garner votes from Bangladeshi infiltrators. Is it justifiable to grant voting rights to illegal immigrants?”
He continued, “If you have the guts, submit your party's list from Bihar. Indicate how many were wrongly eliminated. Some were declared dead, and some rightful names were omitted. You won't provide the list but will indulge in unfounded politics. Do you believe that repeating falsehoods will make them true? Falsehoods remain falsehoods.”
Giriraj Singh also disclosed that his own name was removed from one location due to duplication, stating, “My name was listed in two places. One was eliminated. Many voter names were rectified, not unjustly removed.”
The Minister also criticized Congress for its doubt regarding Operation Sindoor, where Air Chief Marshal A.P. Singh confirmed the downing of five Pakistani fighter jets and a surveillance aircraft in retaliation for the Pahalgam terror incident.
“They lack faith in the nation's military; the generals and top officials have spoken out. They don’t trust Modi ji but put their faith in Pakistan instead. Congress should decline and vanish; it’s their nature. Such individuals are anti-national,” he remarked.
His comments follow the Air Chief's revelation of satellite imagery and intelligence confirming the IAF's successful operations on May 7 and May 10, targeting Pakistan's terror infrastructure and aviation assets.
Operation Sindoor has since ignited a conflict between the ruling BJP and the opposition, with the former accusing the latter of demoralizing the Armed Forces by demanding evidence of military operations.
