Patna, Aug 16 (NationPress) Union Textiles Minister Giriraj Singh criticized Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Saturday for deceiving the public regarding the Special Intensive Revision of draft voter rolls in Bihar.
While visiting his parliamentary constituency in Begusarai, Singh stated, "Rahul Gandhi asserts that 65 lakh names have been eliminated from the voter list, yet he hasn't even submitted affidavits for 65,000 individuals in the Supreme Court. He merely engages in politics filled with deception and nonsense."
The Union Minister likened Rahul Gandhi to a habitual deceiver, asserting, "He lies first and then apologizes. This time, too, he will apologize. His aim is to incite chaos in the nation."
Criticizing Rahul Gandhi's recent school visit in Karnataka, Singh remarked, "He was teaching there, but the critical question is - when will he provide the affidavit requested by the Election Commission?"
He accused the Congress party of historically undermining democratic institutions.
"Your party has consistently suppressed democracy. You disregard the directives of the Supreme Court and the High Court, operating with a dictatorial mindset," remarked Giriraj Singh.
In his praise for Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Singh referred to him as a "messiah of the poor,” while labeling Rahul Gandhi as a politician solely focused on lies and vote bank politics.
Recalling the Emergency imposed by Indira Gandhi, he noted, "Rahul Gandhi’s grandmother also ignored the Supreme Court's order and enforced Emergency in our country. These individuals are family crooks and are now attempting to deceive the voters in Bihar. Their objective is to secure votes from Rohingyas and Bangladeshis to sustain their political ambitions."
Giriraj Singh's remarks come just before Rahul Gandhi's Vote Adhikar Yatra, which is set to commence from Sasaram on Sunday.
