Patna, July 10 (NationPress) Union Minister Giriraj Singh has taken a strong stance against Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and Bihar's Leader of Opposition Tejashwi Yadav, accusing them of deceiving the public and collaborating with "anti-national forces" under the guise of protecting voter rights.

"Whenever Rahul Gandhi faces defeat, he raises unfounded claims about voter rights being infringed upon," Singh stated, further asserting, "His fight isn't for Indian voters, but rather for Bangladeshi and Rohingya infiltrators. His political agenda is steeped in negativity, aiming to drag Bihar back to the turmoil of the 1990s."

Singh also criticized Rahul Gandhi's symbolic display of the Constitution, saying, "He parades with a fake Constitution, but it is Prime Minister Narendra Modi who genuinely upholds its principles. Individuals like Rahul Gandhi pose a threat to the Constitution, and the nation must be shielded from their influence."

The Union Minister of Textiles extended his remarks to Tejashwi Yadav and the internal conflicts within the INDIA alliance.

He noted the exclusion of leaders such as Kanhaiya Kumar and Pappu Yadav from recent political activities, stating, "Preventing them from sharing the stage or participating is disrespectful and showcases the increasing rifts within the alliance."

In response to the Bihar Bandh organized by the INDIA bloc on Wednesday, BJP Bihar President Dilip Jaiswal remarked that the opposition was instigating unnecessary panic.

"If voters encounter any genuine issues, we will address those with the Election Commission. This is merely the initial stage of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of the voter list. Let the process unfold. Any legitimate concerns will be resolved," he asserted.

Jaiswal further accused the opposition of inciting fears to distract from their declining support base.

This commentary arises amidst a tense political climate in Bihar, where opposition parties—including Congress, RJD, CPI-ML, CPI, CPI(M), and VIP—have reported irregularities in the ongoing voter list revision ahead of the Assembly elections.

On Wednesday, these parties observed a Bihar Bandh, which significantly disrupted daily life across various districts.

Point of View

It's crucial to analyze the validity of claims made by leaders on both sides. Giriraj Singh's accusations of anti-national affiliations raise questions about political accountability. The opposition's concerns regarding voter rights must also be addressed transparently to maintain public trust. Ultimately, the integrity of the electoral process should be the paramount focus for all parties involved.
