New Delhi, April 22 (NationPress) In response to the terrorist attack that claimed the lives of at least 16 tourists, including two foreigners, and injured 20 others in the Pahalgam hill station located in Jammu and Kashmir's Anantnag district on Tuesday, the US, Russia, the UAE, and Iran have condemned this heinous act and expressed their solidarity with India in its ongoing battle against terrorism.

US President Donald Trump took to his own social media platform, Truth Social, stating: "Deeply disturbing news out of Kashmir. The United States stands strong with India against Terrorism. We pray for the souls of those lost, and for the recovery of the injured. Prime Minister Modi, and the incredible people of India, have our full support and deepest sympathies. Our hearts are with you all!"

Russian President Vladimir Putin conveyed his condolences to President Droupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi regarding the tragic aftermath of the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir.

"Please accept my heartfelt condolences for the tragic consequences of the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, which targeted civilians from various nations. This brutal crime is entirely unjustifiable. We anticipate that those responsible will face rightful punishment. I would like to reaffirm our commitment to enhancing cooperation with Indian partners in combating terrorism in all its forms. Kindly extend my sincere sympathies to the families of the deceased and wishes for a swift recovery to all the injured," Putin remarked.

Denis Alipov, the Russian Ambassador to India, expressed on X: "Our deepest condolences to the Indian people and government for the heinous terror attack against tourists in Pahalgam. Russia firmly stands with India."

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) also strongly condemned the terrorist attack that targeted tourists in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, which resulted in numerous casualties and injuries to innocent individuals.

In an official statement, the UAE's Ministry of Foreign Affairs asserted its strong condemnation of such criminal acts and its unwavering rejection of all forms of violence and terrorism that threaten security and stability, violating international law.

The Ministry further extended its sincere condolences and sympathy to the Indian government and people, as well as to the families of the victims of this appalling attack, wishing a swift recovery to all those injured.

The Iranian Embassy in New Delhi also condemned the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, which resulted in the loss of lives and injuries to many innocent individuals.

In a post on X, the Embassy stated: "We extend our heartfelt condolences to the people and government of India, particularly to the families of the victims of this attack, and wish a prompt recovery and good health to all the injured. @DrSJaishankar @MEAIndia."
