New Delhi, Jan 26 (NationPress) As India commemorates its 77th Republic Day today, heartfelt greetings have flooded in from various nations, including their diplomatic missions, marking this significant occasion.

US Ambassador to India, Sergio Gor, conveyed his warm wishes, expressing his honor at attending the Republic Day Parade for the first time.

"Happy Republic Day, India! I am privileged to witness the Republic Day Parade, a vibrant celebration of India’s Constitution and its democratic essence. It was exhilarating to see the U.S.-manufactured aircraft gliding through the Indian skies, embodying the strength of the US-India strategic partnership," Gor shared on X.

Japanese Ambassador to India, Ono Keiichi, also sent his regards on this momentous day: "Warm greetings on India’s 77th Republic Day. I eagerly anticipate joining the celebrations, following the At-Home invitation from the Hon’ble President of India — a true reflection of India’s rich and diverse culture," he posted on X.

Australia's High Commissioner to India, Philip Green, also expressed his wishes. A video shared by him featured officials from the Australian mission conveying their greetings in local languages such as Hindi, Bengali, and Marathi.
