During a media briefing on Thursday, MEA spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal reiterated that India has received energy requests from Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, the Maldives, and other neighboring nations.

He noted that India has been supplying diesel to Bangladesh since 2007 through various means and continues to assist the South Asian country, alongside other neighboring nations.

With ongoing conflicts affecting energy shipping routes, there are concerns regarding the supply of LPG.
