New Delhi, Feb 13 (NationPress) Union Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal has taken aim at Lok Sabha Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi for his accusations regarding the India-US trade agreement, calling them 'unfounded' and labeling him a 'habitual liar.'
In a video message shared on the social media platform X, Goyal stated, “Annadata Devo Bhava! Under the guidance of PM Narendra Modi ji, our farmers will always be safe, empowered, and thriving.”
He further accused Rahul Gandhi of disseminating false information and misleading farmers.
“Rahul Gandhi is a habitual liar. He shows no regard for Maa Bharat or the welfare of our farmers and youth. In a recent video, he has exceeded all limits of dishonesty and made unfounded claims. He is deceiving our farmers with his false narrative and attempting to incite our Annadatas. He has never prioritized our motherland, nor can we expect him to contribute to a strong and prosperous future for India,” Goyal asserted.
Defending the government's stance, the Commerce Minister emphasized that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has consistently prioritized farmers' welfare. “PM Modi has always displayed empathy towards our Kisan brothers and sisters. He has consistently placed farmers' interests at the forefront and made decisions aimed at ensuring their success.
