Following the tragic incident involving a Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner on June 12, which claimed the lives of 241 passengers, except for one fortunate survivor, a dedicated group of 36 forensic specialists has been laboring endlessly, with many exceeding their work hours, to identify and confirm the remains of victims among numerous charred bodies.
Harsh Sanghavi took to X to share a touching tribute to the forensic experts who have exceeded expectations during this critical time, striving to ensure that families can retrieve their loved ones’ remains as soon as possible.
“A tribute to the remarkable dedication of our FSL Forensic Experts,” he shared. “The personal sacrifices made by this team of 36 dedicated professionals are truly commendable.”
He highlighted the incredible commitment of one forensic expert whose mother is currently battling for her life with only 20 percent heart function and is awaiting urgent surgery. Despite this personal crisis, the expert is unwavering in their commitment to the DNA testing efforts.
Moreover, he pointed out that eight of the women experts on the team are mothers of children aged three years or younger. These professionals have set aside their familial obligations to focus on the vital task at hand, showcasing their dedication.
