Ahmedabad, Dec 11 (NationPress) During an industrial interaction event at the Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI) in Ahmedabad, Deputy Chief Minister and Industries Minister Harsh Sanghavi emphasized the state's renewed dedication to fostering industrial advancement and enhancing the ease of doing business.
This gathering convened prominent industrialists, GCCI officials, and key government representatives for a collaborative discussion on policy frameworks, emerging prospects, and Gujarat’s long-term economic aspirations. In his address to industry magnates, Sanghavi acknowledged the business sector for establishing Gujarat as the leading industrial state in India.
“You provide jobs to millions, contribute to the nation’s GDP, and stimulate economic progress. The government is firmly behind you—our mission is to ensure that Gujarat’s industrial growth encounters no obstacles,” he stated.
Among the major announcements was the significant enhancement in the speed of file processing within the Industries Department. Sanghavi disclosed that the department has increased its processing capability from 230 files a day to 480.
The subsequent target, he mentioned, is to reach 700 files daily, ensuring that investors do not squander precious time during crucial decision-making phases.
“When an investor injects substantial capital into Gujarat, time transforms into the most valuable asset. It is our duty to guarantee prompt approvals so that businesses can genuinely experience the Ease of Doing Business,” he remarked.
Sanghavi also elaborated on the state’s strategic plan for ‘Viksit Gujarat @ 2047’, aligning with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision for a fully developed India by 2047.
