Ahmedabad, Dec 21 (NationPress) The Chief Minister of Gujarat, Bhupendra Patel, attended the Property Fest held by NAREDCO Gujarat in Ognaj, highlighting the increasingly important role the real estate sector plays in the state's development trajectory.

This three-day event, hosted by the National Real Estate Development Council (NAREDCO), has gathered over 40 real estate companies from both Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar, presenting a diverse array of residential, commercial, and urban development projects.

While addressing the importance of such events, the Chief Minister remarked that with Ahmedabad being awarded the Commonwealth Games 2030 hosting rights, initiatives like the Property Fest will pave the way for the development of parallel infrastructure and real estate.

He pointed out that landmark initiatives such as GIFT City, the Dholera Special Investment Region (SIR), and the expanding metro rail system have already triggered remarkable growth in both the real estate and infrastructure sectors throughout Gujarat.

Underlining the vision of ‘Viksit Gujarat for a Viksit Bharat’, Patel asserted that the real estate sector will be instrumental in realizing this vision through contributions to organized urbanization, economic activity, and job creation.

During his visit, the Chief Minister explored various booths established by prominent real estate firms and obtained comprehensive insights into modern construction methodologies and forthcoming urban development initiatives.

The NAREDCO Gujarat Property Fest, which commenced on December 19, features exhibits from 41 real estate firms. Over the three-day period, the event has seen enthusiastic engagement from investors, homebuyers, and property aficionados.

Present at the event were NAREDCO Gujarat's Chairman Suresh Patel, President Yogesh Bhavsar, Secretary Deepak Patel, along with numerous stakeholders from the real estate industry and a large turnout of visitors.

Gujarat has established itself as a frontrunner in India's infrastructure development, characterized by a robust emphasis on connectivity, industrial expansion, and urban planning.

Major projects like GIFT City, the Dholera Special Investment Region, extensive metro rail networks in Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar, and world-class expressways have significantly bolstered the state's economic framework.

The enhancement of ports, logistics hubs, and industrial corridors has fortified Gujarat's reputation as a premier manufacturing and investment locale, while smart city initiatives and sustainable urban infrastructure have elevated the living standards. Supported by consistent policy backing and timely implementation, Gujarat's infrastructure growth remains crucial in attracting investment and propelling overall development.
