Jaipur, Feb 15 (NationPress) Former Rajasthan Minister Harish Chaudhary has expressed his commitment to fortifying the Congress party immediately after his designation as the in-charge of the party's Madhya Pradesh unit.

"I extend my heartfelt gratitude to the National President of @INCIndia, esteemed @kharge ji, and our leader, honorable @RahulGandhi ji, for assigning me the role of in-charge of @INCIndia. With steadfast dedication, I am ready to execute this duty effectively, collaborating with all to bolster the organization in Madhya Pradesh," stated MLA Chaudhary.

Harish Chaudhary, an MLA representing Baytu in Barmer district of Rajasthan, has been appointed the in-charge for Madhya Pradesh Congress.

He previously managed the Punjab operations. The appointment directives were issued by Congress Organisation General Secretary K C Venugopal.

Former Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh Bhupesh Baghel has been named General Secretary in-charge of Punjab, while Shahid Nasir Hussain will now supervise Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh.

Moreover, Rajni Patil has taken charge of Himachal Pradesh and Chandigarh, BK Hariprasad for Haryana, Girish Chodankar for Tamil Nadu and Puducherry, Ajay Kumar Lallu for Odisha, K Raju for Jharkhand, Meenakshi Natarajan for Telangana, and Saptagiri Shankar for Manipur, Tripura, Sikkim, and Nagaland.

Youth Congress leader Krishna Allahveeru has been designated as the in-charge for Bihar, succeeding Rajasthan Congress leader Mohan Prakash, who has been relieved of his duties.

In Rajasthan, MP Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa will persist as the state's in-charge, a position he has held since December 2022, having replaced Ajay Maken.
