Haryana's Key Contribution to India's Development by 2047: CM

Gurugram, Jan 2 (NationPress) The Chief Minister of Haryana, Nayab Singh Saini, emphasized on Thursday that the industrial institutions in the region are playing a vital role in the state's economic advancement.

He stated that Haryana will be pivotal in Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision to transform India into a developed nation by the year 2047.

This statement was made during a pre-budget consultation meeting held with stakeholders from the industry and manufacturing sectors for the financial year 2025-26 in Gurugram.

During the meeting, representatives from numerous industry-related organizations provided their recommendations for the upcoming budget.

Present at the meeting were Minister of State for Industry and Commerce, Environment, Forest, and Wildlife, Rao Narbir Singh, Sohna MLA Tejpal Tanwar, and Gurugram MLA Mukesh Sharma.

“In the forthcoming budget, we will undertake significant initiatives to address both long-term objectives and immediate requirements. The next budget will embody our shared aspirations and priorities. Engaging with all segments of society is essential to ensure we can effectively respond to the needs and aspirations of every resident of Haryana,” stated Saini.

He highlighted that in recent years, Haryana has witnessed exceptional progress across various domains, including agriculture, industry, education infrastructure, and technology.

He mentioned that the upcoming budget will duly prioritize constructive recommendations aimed at bolstering the rural economy, promoting industrial investments, empowering the youth through skill development, and enhancing social welfare.

Saini also promised to consider the suggestions made by representatives concerning health services in industrial zones, improvements in public transport, and essential reforms in industrial policy.

During the meeting, Rajesh Khullar, Chief Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister, revealed that this time, the Chief Minister has adopted a fresh approach for the budget.

This year, in addition to the state, other citizens can also contribute their suggestions through online platforms for the upcoming Haryana budget.

Suggestions can be submitted by navigating to the sector and sub-sector categories via the https://bamsharyana.nic.in portal.

Thus far, over a thousand suggestions have been received through this portal.

Anurag Rastogi, Additional Chief Secretary of the Finance, Industry, and Commerce Department, noted that valuable suggestions have been received in the past through the pre-budget consultation meetings.

These suggestions have led to successful initiatives such as Harih Store, Drone Technology, STEM Lab, and Super 30.
