Chandigarh, March 6 (NationPress) Prasoon Mukherjee, the President of the Singapore India Business Forum, met with Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini to discuss potential avenues for industrial investment, trade collaboration, and the opportunities that lie for Singaporean firms in Haryana.
The Chief Minister extended an invitation to the Singapore India Business Forum and investors from Singapore to consider the various investment possibilities in Haryana. He emphasized that the Haryana government is actively working to foster a favorable environment for industries and investors.
As per an official statement from CM Saini, the government is promoting investments through transparent policies, streamlined processes, and enhanced infrastructure.
Moreover, he assured that the state government is fully committed to assisting investors. Those who decide to invest in Haryana will encounter no obstacles, and their interests will be safeguarded. The Chief Minister pointed out that the growth of industries in the state will generate new job opportunities and significantly boost Haryana’s economic progress.
During the meeting, there were also discussions regarding the establishment of a business center for the Singapore India Business Forum in Gurugram. CM Saini noted that such a center would provide Singaporean companies with an excellent platform to set up offices and invest in Haryana, thereby strengthening trade ties.
On this occasion, Mukherjee invited CM Saini to visit Singapore, expressing that investors linked with the Singapore India Business Forum, in partnership with the Singapore government, are keen to explore investment avenues in Haryana and perceive vast prospects for future collaboration across various sectors.
Accompanying the meeting were Chief Secretary Anurag Rastogi, Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister Arun Kumar Gupta, Commissioner and Secretary (Industries and Commerce Department) Amit Agrawal, along with other senior officials.
