Baijnath (Himachal Pradesh), Jan 25 (NationPress) - On Saturday, Chief Minister Sukhvinder Sukhu of Himachal Pradesh inaugurated the Him Pariwar Portal, a groundbreaking initiative designed to offer a centralized platform for citizens to access various documents, government services, and welfare schemes during a state-level event commemorating statehood day.

The portal's mission is to streamline the process of accessing government schemes while promoting transparency. Citizens can explore over 300 government services through this portal. A presentation video highlighting the Him Pariwar Project was showcased, and the Chief Minister also launched the Him Pariwar booklet. Furthermore, he distributed Him Pariwar cards.

Additionally, the Chief Minister honored the Kangra police station with the National Award 2024 for its outstanding performance in crime management, grievance resolution, public engagement, administrative efficiency, modern technology usage, and staff performance. The award was presented to Inspector Sanjeev Kumar, the station in charge.

The Nurpur Police District achieved the top rank for excellence in law enforcement and administrative effectiveness, with the award presented to Superintendent of Police Ashok Ratan.

Kullu district claimed second place, with the accolade awarded to Superintendent of Police Sakshi Verma, while Kangra district secured third place, recognized by Superintendent of Police Shalini Agnihotri.

In the tribal districts category, the Lahaul-Spiti district police took home the first prize. The Chief Minister also acknowledged parade commander Ravi Nandan and participants of cultural programs. After the statehood celebrations, the Chief Minister laid foundation stones and inaugurated various projects worth Rs 70.26 crore in Baijnath.

Baijnath legislator Kishori Lal expressed his appreciation to the Chief Minister for the projects, noting that these initiatives came without prior requests, showcasing the CM's commitment to regional welfare. He also emphasized that celebrating statehood day in Baijnath was a significant honor for the constituency.
