Shimla, April 14 (NationPress) The Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh, Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, conducted a review on Tuesday of the advancements made in the 450-MW Shongtong-Karcham hydroelectric project situated along the Satluj River during his two-day inspection visit to Kinnaur district. He urged officials to ensure that the initial phase is finalized by January 2027.
Upon his arrival, he evaluated the powerhouse, surge shaft, and barrage areas, engaging in discussions with engineers and construction workers on-site.
