HSIIDC Plans to Develop an Industrial Township Spanning 3,000 Acres Near Pachgaon Chowk

Gurugram, Dec 8 (NationPress) The Haryana State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation (HSIIDC) has devised a strategy to create an industrial township over 3,000 acres close to Pachgaon Chowk.
This development marks HSIIDC's fourth township in the district, following the establishment of townships in Udyog Vihar, IMT Manesar, and Sohna.
Currently, more than 10,000 small and large enterprises are functioning within all HSIIDC townships.
An HSIIDC representative stated, "The process to initiate the development of a new township on 3,000 acres near Pachgaon Chowk will commence next year. The corporation controls 3,000 acres of land in two segments near Pachgaon Chowk, with approximately 1,300 acres in one segment and 1,700 acres in the other."
A comprehensive plan is in place, and after evaluating the costs associated with developing essential services in the township, the proposal will be forwarded to the government for authorization.
The corporation's 3,000 acres of land are located in Pachgaon near the Kundli-Manesar-Palwal (KMP) expressway. Once the IMT township is developed, businesses may encounter challenges in logistics.
Plans are in place for direct access from the IMT township to the KMP. Additionally, the metro system will be extended from Rajiv Chowk to Global City, and then directly to Pachgaon Chowk via Manesar. This means that travelers from Delhi will have a straightforward metro route to Pachgaon.
Moreover, the government has aspirations to create five new cities along both sides of the KMP, with further planning for additional urban developments along this route. Besides Sonipat and Gurgaon, one of these new cities will be developed in the vicinity of Bahadurgarh.
This new city will occupy approximately 50,000 hectares of land in villages around Bahadurgarh.
HSIIDC is also dedicated to establishing individual industrial model townships tailored for industries in each district, providing fundamental amenities such as roads, water, electricity, and gas for the township.
"A new industrial model township will be constructed on 3,000 acres at Pachgaon Chowk. The process is already in motion. Shortly, development work for the township will commence. Alongside the establishment of essential facilities, plots will be allocated for industrial setup here," stated Rajiv Goyal, AGM of HSIIDC.
