This war room, located in a factory unit, will consist of officials from the Haryana State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation (HSIIDC), the Public Health Department, the power distribution company, the Municipal Council, and the police.
Members representing the industrial area, including Subhash Dhiman, Gopi Sehgal, Kamaljit Jain, Kapil Verma, and Akhil Gupta, are also part of this committee.
They will collaborate closely with relevant departments to ensure the swift resolution of various issues.
During his visit to the industrial area, Minister Vij mandated an extensive cleaning initiative and large-scale disinfection efforts.
He urged Municipal Council officials to mobilize maximum manpower and resources to implement cleanliness drives urgently.
Immediate restoration of drinking water and reliable power supply was also ordered.
To tackle waterlogging problems, he instructed the Public Health Department to deploy a super sucker machine for effective drainage.
Upon arrival, he personally assessed its operation and confirmed everything was functioning properly before departing the site.
Describing the industrial area as “the lifeline of the entire city”, the Minister emphasized its critical role as a livelihood hub for thousands.
He urged sanitation workers to ensure thorough treatment of all corners, employing oil spraying and lime application to avert waterborne illnesses.
Additionally, he encouraged factory owners to permit spraying within their premises, assuring that adequate sanitation personnel will be assigned so operations can resume without delay.
To address long-term solutions, Minister Vij instructed HSIIDC officials to devise a plan for establishing stormwater drainage lines in the industrial area.
He also visited a factory to assess the damage caused by flooding.
Furthermore, Minister Vij directed Ambala Deputy Commissioner Ajay Singh Tomer to resolve industrialists' questions regarding insurance claims.
