Chandigarh, April 2 (NationPress) Haryana Cabinet Minister Vipul Goel stated on Wednesday that the government is entirely dedicated to the advancement of urban areas, and projects will progress at an accelerated pace in the near future.
While presiding over a joint meeting, Goel instructed officials from the Municipal Corporation and the Electricity Department to collaborate with all council members and ensure that no development initiative remains unnecessarily delayed.
He also emphasized that any ongoing development work must be finalized within the designated timeline.
“Any unwarranted delay in any project will be viewed as negligence on the part of the responsible officer, and suitable action will be initiated,” he stated.
Food and Civil Supplies Minister Rajesh Nagar was also in attendance at the meeting, which aimed to foster improved coordination among all departments and public officials, allowing for seamless execution of development works in the wards and ensuring high-quality amenities for the residents of Faridabad.
Goel specified that the drainage system must be repaired promptly to prevent any inconveniences for residents during the rainy season.
He instructed the Municipal Corporation officials to commence drain and sewer line cleaning immediately and to conduct regular monitoring.
Additionally, he evaluated the water supply, sanitation, health services, and other essential facilities, urging all relevant departments to collaborate effectively to enhance services for citizens.
The minister also directed the Electricity Department officials to prepare adequately for the upcoming summer and monsoon seasons to facilitate rapid resolutions during emergencies.
He mentioned that all necessary tools should be kept in repair storage, and a plan should be devised to ensure a consistent power supply.
